Latex Mattress

I’m looking for something 00 and under.

I intend to change my mattress, and the sales person recommended Eastman House , Virginia model, a 100% 10" latex mattress. Anyone has some experience with this mattress ? or is a Spring coil or latex foam mattress better ? What are the advantaages of latex mattress ?

My chiropractor recommended a latex bed. I would also prefer all natural materials, and no metal in the mattress.

It is so confusing! Dunlop, Talalay, blended, 100% natural, synthetic. My back is so bad i am bed-fast from the pain. I need to have a very springy mattress topper and it must support my spine. I can only lay on my side. I have a sleep number bed and it will not support a regular full latex mattress. With a topper I still can use the controls. I have had so many beds and so many different toppers, I have cost my husband allot of money.

I can’t ease the pain but in need to be comfortable and sink in to the mattress topper not lay on top of it. Should I get soft/med?

Can any who knows about latex, inform me and not confuse me, which 4 inch topper I should buy?

Does the method make the latex less springy? I need to have bounce, not like memory foam crap.

I have been hunting around for the best type of mattress for myself and my partner to sleep on.
I have looked at memory foam but have heard they get hot and that wouldnt suit my partner, as he suffers with severe eczema. I have looked at latex but he has a latex allergy and I would have thought this type of mattress might aggravate his skin too!
I really want a comfortable mattress and a strong one (as he is on the heavy side!) But I dont want to be spending too much money – my budget it £300.00
Can anyone recommend anything that might be suitable taking into account his allergies??

So I’m moving into my dorm soon and the bed is as hard a rock. I can’t decide what type of mattress topper to get. I’m looking for one that is really soft but doesn’t go flat. I had a tempurpedic mattress once and it was waaay to firm. I’ve narrowed it down between wool and latex foam- opinions???

It’s a queen sized mattress with latex and individual springs. I’ve had to move out of my apartment since I lost my job. We will get another apartment at the end of summer and take it out of storage then. But right now it’s been up on its side for about 3 months. Will it be okay for a few more? Should we turn it over onto it’s other side to make it fall evenly? Will we destroy this mattress by doing this to it? And if the answer is that we must store it flat right away, where the hell are we supposed to store it? The space we have is just barely big enough for all our stuff and it’s costing us over 0 per month! And we don’t want to store it in anyone’s home to keep it free from allergens, pets, and mold and we don’t want anyone else to use it…

Any suggestions welcome. And if you think it’s bad to store it on its side, is that because you think it would be bad, or because you actually stored a mattress on its side and it definatly messed it up?

I bought a memory foam mattress topper online (4 lb density, 3 inch thick) from Overstock. the picture showed a white foam. What arrived was a yellow-brown. Is this memory foam or something else? I read that over time, mem. foam can turn yellow, but didn’t expect it to arrive like this. Could it be latex? Allergic.

2 yrs ago we bought a new mattress/box spring set. ( pillow top) it began making noises all the time even with very little movement.. we complained after 6 months and they gave use a new box sping. the sound stopped then started up again, each day got worse and worse. i wrote a complaint to nashville bedding company with no response ever. should i but a new box spring??? or put board between them? etc? ( sound is like 2 latex balloons being rubbed together) HELP!

I am 15 years old, I weigh 150 lbs, I have lime disease, and I have arthritis in my hips. I have had the same spring coil mattress since i was about 3 years old and I think it is time to get a new one. I do not know which mattress is best for my body type. My hips, knees, and lower back are what bother me the most. I have stabbing pains in them. My upper back and neck are just really stiff. I sleep mostly on my sides, but sometimes on my back, never my stomach. I have looked and looked at mattress guides online, but they all say different things. I think the latex mattress is my best choice, or the heated water bed. But, I am not sure. Can anyone please help me pick the right mattress?

I need a new mattress! I am by no means wealthy. I cannot decide if I should go with a latex mattress(2 in latex 6 in high density foam) with a memory foam topper (cost about 0) or buy a memory foam mattress with a latex topper (cost about 0) Will the memory foam mattress hold up? I am mattress shopping retarded so any experience/knowledge would be very helpful

I have a latex top mattress and while i was away one day at work my cat decided to pee on my expensive mattress!… I have no idea how to get it out? Will steam cleaning it wreck the latex? Help please
